About
One person, one editor.
vidcut is built and run by an individual, not a company.
Who runs it
vidcut is built and operated by one person. There is no support team behind a ticket queue — mail goes to the person who wrote the code.
Why open-core
The editor is AGPL-licensed and runs free on your own machine, with no account and no limits. The cloud plans pay for the machines that render and transcribe, and for the hosted endpoint your agent connects to. That split is the whole business model: the software is yours, the infrastructure is what you rent.
